David Blish, MHA, MBA
David has been working in healthcare for nearly 20 years. During that time, he has worked and excelled in multiple disciplines including strategic planning, decision support, project management, business development, marketing and communication, physician practice management, and information technology assessment and planning. His breadth of industry knowledge and clinical background allows him to effectively and efficiently implement projects and fulfill strategic objectives for his clients. He maintains his expertise in imaging technology and is frequently called upon to align equipment capabilities with facility business objectives. David's core competencies include creation of structure and process to achieve tangible results in unique, complex, and non-recurring situations.
Achievements:
David's achievements include the successful relocation and occupancy specialty services in a tertiary setting during continuous operation, and the oversight, project management and realization of facility projects including the expansion of an emergency department and a birthing center.
He has created Information Technology and Imaging Technology master plans resulting in capital coordination, clinical integration, and expansion of capabilities and has developed relevant and actionable strategic plans and market assessments. He has originated and executed analytical frameworks leading to medical staff value analysis and business segment/product strategic merit review.
David utilizes a goal-oriented team perspective that cultivates respect and open dialogue among its members. He earned a master's degrees from Xavier University in both hospital and business administration with a concentration in quality management. He earned a bachelor's degree in health services management and an associate's degree in imaging technology from Indiana University. He is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives.
