Carlos Hood
Carlos Hood's career background includes; Accounting, Finance, Manufacturing Operations Controller, as well as Business Planning and Marketing. His unique skill sets and experiences enable him to solve problems and drive performance improvement results for his clients. He has performed a variety of leadership roles in some of the most premier companies in Indiana including; Director of US Business Planning and Marketing for a $400 million Automotive Business Unit of Remy Incorporated, Controller with responsibility for three tier-one UAW Manufacturing Facilities with total sales of $220 million in their Anderson Manufacturing Operations, and was Finance Manager for the Turbine operating unit of Rolls-Royce Aircraft Engine, comprising $260 million in sales.
Carlos is currently a licensed consultant for Expense Reduction Analysts (ERA), the world's largest consultancy of its kind, delivering operating expense reduction to companies in more than 30 countries. By focusing on non-core/G&A expenses, Carlos is able to help his clients save substantial amounts of money in more than 40 expense categories, without compromising service levels or quality.
He is especially experienced in managing expense reduction projects in the areas of Food Services, Energy, Medical, Surgical and Laboratory Supplies, as well as Medical Services and Chartered Transportation. As a result of a strategic collaboration between ERA and ProviderWorks LLC., a longtime consulting practice to healthcare executives in the state and throughout the country, Carlos now directly oversees and manages projects exceeding $260 million in aggregate annual expense.
